Unwanted Habits
We all have unwanted behaviour, feelings, emotions, thoughts, unpleasant sensations that happen again and again. That we wish we could get rid of. That we wish would stop.
We accept it as just a habit, "Something I can't change. It's just part of me - wish it wasn't but........…………………"
These are patterns of behaviour that we have developed for one reason or another - that at some point in time, when it first occurred was probably the right thing - for that occasion. The problem is that that moment has gone, the moment when it was really relevant.
We have become stuck in a pattern. A pattern of behavioural responses to a trigger - a trigger is something that happens around us that we respond to. A pattern that we don't understand but reluctantly accept - "it's just part of me, something I unfortunately cannot change"
Paul has developed techniques to help people get a greater understanding of why we develop these unwanted patterns of behaviour (habits) and how we can release or change these unwanted patterns by using visualisation techniques or colour changes and so develop new, more acceptable behaviour or emotions that are relevant to now.
